Super Green Juice Recipe

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 by JuicerGuy

This is a good example of a twin gear juicer. As you can see it takes a little longer but you do get more juice/ less waste.

Rob from http://www.bestjuicers.com demonstrates how to make a super healthy green juice with the green star juicer.

1 cucumber
1 green or red apple (green is less sweet more tart)
1-2 carrots
3 stalks of celery
1/2 head of romaine lettuce 1
2 large dino or regular kale leaves
1/4 to 1/2 ripe Hawaiian papaya (1/2 results in a sweeter juice)
1 handful of cilantro or parsley (or both for deeper green juice)
1 handful of fennel (stalk can be used too)
1 green or red apple (green is less sweet more tart)
Optional small slice of garlic and/or ginger
Optional Superfood like Vitamineral Green

If Extract Fruit From a Juice Extractor, How Long Will the Juice “Fruit” Last, and Not Get Contaminated?

Monday, November 17th, 2008 by admin

It will depend on the type of fruit and the storage. Eg if you freeze it you can just let it thaw in the fridge. You could probably leave it frozen for about 6 months. Otherwise I would keep it up to one day in the fridge covered with cling wrap. When you leave juice to sit (out of the extractor) especially with multiple fruits, they settle and separate. So it will be nicer if you give it a shake b4 drinking if doing this and pref add some ice - i think this will taste nicer

Is it okay to feed fresh juice (using a juice extractor) to an infant?

Friday, November 7th, 2008 by admin

I have a good handle on the benefits of fresh fruit and vegetable juices, however I've heard conflicting arguments related to giving them to my 16 month old son. Any links to good related resources would be greatly appreciated!
(a good link will get my vote for best answer!)

its always better to give infants fresh foods then canned so long and they aren't allergic and it not too potent!

How come people don't believe the benefits I've noticed from using my juice extractor?

Thursday, November 6th, 2008 by admin

When I tell people how much my health has improved by juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, they dismiss my observations as quackery, meanwhile they get colds and flu, etc…

because alot of people are closed minded,or skeptical and don't believe things unless thy see it for themselves,as long as you know it's working don't worry about who believes you
